Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was a young child. She earned a Bachelors in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011, they renewed vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E!
