Washington Butler, a native Puyallup Washington was always interested in the arts. She was an actor in the schools and at the community theatre. Then she moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a degree at The University of Southern California and later played Belle as the Princess for one and a half years in Disneyland. She left college in search of an agent for talent who would let her audition for films and television. Butler guest-starred on the television show CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.She was cast in the film A Couple of White Chicks at the Hair Dresser and the 2008 Syfy TV horror film Flu Bird Horror. Although initially sceptical about the film's nakedness and the violence, its strong female edge and character arc convinced her to play the role. In November of 2011, Butler and Estella Warren started filming the thriller based on psychological research The Stranger Within in Mallorca in Spain. Alongside New York City and Copenhagen, the film was scheduled for filming on location in Copenhagen Denmark. She also was part of the cast of Treachery which featured Michael Biehn. The independent feature film began filming at Los Angeles in early 2012. Butler co-starred with Michael Welch in 2013's horror film The Demented.
