Yael Stein Yael Stein, who is Australian and lives in New York City since 2013 She played Lorna Morrello on Orange Is the New Black. Yael graduated from NIDA. Yael's first job has given her to interact with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael is a hugely professional career that has been a success in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's new life in New York City began when the production received a prestigious review at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery is located within Bushwick Brooklyn and works out of Brooklyn to encourage creative writing, innovative ideas and new work.
