Emily Mortimer is a British screenwriter and actress who is also known for her notable contribution to Hollywood films. Mortimer is a former theater student and has an impressive record of. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born in Hammersmith on December 1, 1971 to the famous lawyer and barrister Sir John Mortimer, and Penelope Gollop who was the daughter of Penelope Gollop and a well-known writer.
